René Metcalfe

René initially approached me to create a personal identity for her Make Up Artist business. She wanted a simple chic logo that would work across a whole range of assets, print and digital.

Many of her key clients were celebrities, so she was often recommended by word of mouth. People frequently asked for her business card, so we created a range of luxury postcards alongside stationary to showcase her work.

We also developed a client card to keep simple notes of products and application tips of individual looks, to share with them.

René gathered her vast folio and realised she needed a website. I created a structure and design for the website, and liased with a web builder to launch René online.

Editing her work into focused galleries, advising on selecting advertising and TV showreels.

Many of Renés editorials were printed originals, so I digitised and retouched this imagery.
